Court records identified the man charged with killing another man and kidnapping his ex-girlfriend Wednesday morning in west Las Vegas. Joseph Fernandez, 27, faces charges of murder, first degree kidnapping, home invasion, burglary, battery with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy.
Officers identified a second suspect in a deadly shooting and abduction Wednesday in the west valley, police said. Jessica Tolentino-Arciga, 26, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Wednesday in connection with the incident, according to police. Officers previously accused Joseph L. Three men were shot, two fatally, Tuesday night near downtown Las Vegas, police said. The shooting happened about 8:20 p.m. at May Avenue and Center Drive. Two men died at the scene and the third was taken to University Medical Center, where he was expected to survive.
A man accused of smothering his infant in downtown Las Vegas early Monday faces a murder charge, police said. Las Vegas police responded to a motel at 117 N. 9th St. about 4:20 a.m. Monday after a couple said their baby was having a medical crisis, police said. 3 people were detained after they reportedly beat up an employee at a local Subway. It happened at 7040 S. Durango Drive. 2 males and a female ordered food at the Subway and left without paying. When the employee confronted them in the parking lot, they beat him up and took his car. The victim’s vehicle was located at the RIO and the 3 people were detained.
