A man was shot in the head on Tuesday night near Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue. It happened shortly after 11 p.m. on Lamont. Police believe it may have been a drug-related shooting. The victim was transported to hospital in unknown condition. The shooter left in a red, 4-door vehicle

Per Metro, this appears to be a drug-related shooting. An altercation started in the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex, and a man was shot in the head while fleeing across Lamont. The man who was shot is in critical condition

A woman suffered an injury after a man fired a warning shot in a strip club parking lot Monday morning. According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon, about 6:45 a.m. the suspect saw a woman standing near vehicles that he keeps parked at Cheetah’s gentlemen’s club at 2112 Western Ave. The man confronted the woman, who became verbally aggressive and advanced toward the man.
No one was injured Monday morning in a fire at a central valley home. Firefighters responded just before 6 a.m. to a house at 6228 Fairwood Ave., near Jones Boulevard and U.S. Highway 95.
The Reno Police Department says one person is in jail after shooting two people at the Alder Creek Apartments Sunday night. At around 8:45 p.m. police responded to report of shots fired on Nutmeg Place near Neil Road. Officers say one victim was grazed in the torso and shot in the leg. The other was just shot in the leg, and the bullet actually broke his leg in the process. Police have a suspect in custody.
A wild series of events on Saturday night led to a man's arrest near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Las Vegas Metro police responded about 8:15 p.m. to a taxicab carjacking at Las Vegas Boulevard and Carson Avenue, near Fremont Street, Lt. Jeff Goodwin of Metro police said. Las Vegas police are searching for a man who robbed an Adult Superstore last month in the central valley. Police said that on Feb. 25 a man walked into the Adult Superstore at 3850 W. Tropicana Ave., near Valley View Boulevard, and drew a knife.
Las Vegas police confirmed that a child who was taken from his mother after an argument led to a shooting was "safely located."

Police said a man was injured in a west Las Vegas Valley shooting Tuesday night. Police responded about 9:51 p.m. to 2800 S. Decatur Boulevard, near Sahara Avenue, where a man was shot, Lt. David Gordon said. A man showed up at an apartment, knocking on the door when a neighbor came out and an altercation occurred. Police said it escalated and the victim was shot several times.
