A woman suffered an injury after a man fired a warning shot in a strip club parking lot Monday morning. According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon, about 6:45 a.m. the suspect saw a woman standing near vehicles that he keeps parked at Cheetah’s gentlemen’s club at 2112 Western Ave. The man confronted the woman, who became verbally aggressive and advanced toward the man.

No one was injured Monday morning in a fire at a central valley home. Firefighters responded just before 6 a.m. to a house at 6228 Fairwood Ave., near Jones Boulevard and U.S. Highway 95.

The Reno Police Department says one person is in jail after shooting two people at the Alder Creek Apartments Sunday night. At around 8:45 p.m. police responded to report of shots fired on Nutmeg Place near Neil Road. Officers say one victim was grazed in the torso and shot in the leg. The other was just shot in the leg, and the bullet actually broke his leg in the process. Police have a suspect in custody.

A wild series of events on Saturday night led to a man's arrest near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Las Vegas Metro police responded about 8:15 p.m. to a taxicab carjacking at Las Vegas Boulevard and Carson Avenue, near Fremont Street, Lt. Jeff Goodwin of Metro police said. The suspect caused at least three accidents in the downtown area.

The North Las Vegas police Department is out investigating after a woman was hit by a car on Martin Luther King near Gowan. Woman died at the hospital from her injuries. Multiple lanes closed at this intersection.

Police and medical personnel at the scene of a crash near Maryland and Sahara

Las Vegas police are searching for a man who robbed an Adult Superstore last month in the central valley. Police said that on Feb. 25 a man walked into the Adult Superstore at 3850 W. Tropicana Ave., near Valley View Boulevard, and drew a knife.

Las Vegas police confirmed that a child who was taken from his mother after an argument led to a shooting was "safely located."

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash. It was reported on Wednesday morning on the U.S. 95 at Rainbow Boulevard. Investigators say a vehicle rolled over and one person is dead.

Las Vegas Metro police said one person died in a collision early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at 2:10 a.m. on Jones Boulevard north of Deer Springs Way, near Elkhorn Road.

A man was taken into custody and a woman and children were rescued after a SWAT situation Tuesday night. SWAT made entry into the home at the 4800 block of Desert Plains Road, near Tropicana Avenue and Buffalo Drive about 8:30 p.m. and rescued a woman and two children, Lt. David Gordon said

Henderson police were on scene of a hit-and-run crash east of Boulder Highway on Tuesday night. Police responded about 8:25 p.m. to the intersection of Galleria Drive and Burns Avenue, Officer Scott Williams of the Henderson Police Department said, where a woman suffered serious to critical injuries.

Police said a man was injured in a west Las Vegas Valley shooting Tuesday night. Police responded about 9:51 p.m. to 2800 S. Decatur Boulevard, near Sahara Avenue, where a man was shot, Lt. David Gordon said. A man showed up at an apartment, knocking on the door when a neighbor came out and an altercation occurred. Police said it escalated and the victim was shot several times.

A school bus was involved in a crash near Desert Inn and Topaz roads. Police are on the scene and investigating the reason for the crash. This is a developing situation.

An officer who shot a man in the foot in early 2017 won’t face charges, according to a report released Thursday by Clark County prosecutors. North Las Vegas Sgt. Michael Booker accidentally shot once Jan. 3, 2017, while attempting to turn on a flashlight mounted on his gun, prosecutors wrote in the report. They determined Booker didn’t commit a crime because the shooting appeared to be accidental

A man was in critical condition and a woman was injured after a rollover crash near Mt. Charleston. Authorities responded just after 5 p.m. to a Toyota that rolled over on State Route 156, ejecting the male driver. He was airlifted to University Medical Center in critical condition, Trooper Smaka said. The vehicle was driving eastbound toward U.S. 95.

Two off-duty Nevada Highway Patrol troopers spotted a plume of smoke in the sky over the central valley. They followed the dark cloud to the Cornerstone Crossing Apartments at 6666 W. Washington Ave., where the husband and wife, later identified as troopers Joseph and Trissa DellaBella, found an apartment building engulfed in flames.

Las Vegas police released photos and surveillance video of man suspected of firing several shots into a central valley transgender-friendly bar late last week. Police were called about 5:15 a.m. Friday to The Las Vegas Lounge at 900 E. Karen Avenue, near Maryland Parkway, after someone reported a shooting.

A suspect in a homicide case that began at Boomtown Casino west of Reno has been identified and arrested in a Northern California city, according to police. The case began on Monday, Feb. 26, when officers found a body with a gunshot wound at Boomtown. The victim was identified as 53-year-old David McMillan of Reno.

A tour bus carrying no passengers crashed into an east-valley bus stop Thursday night, hitting and killing a woman, Las Vegas police said. The bus was heading east on Desert Inn Road when it left the road about 8:05 p.m. and hit a bus stop east of the road’s intersection with Eastern Avenue, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Ken Romane said. The bus hit a woman at the stop.

Firefighters doused a fire inside of an under-construction Strip property Thursday night, firefighters said. Crews found heavy smoke coming from the sixth floor of an office space inside of The Drew Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Fire Department. They found building materials in the space had caught fire.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a central valley smoke shop and used pepper spray on a clerk. On Feb. 24 a man walked into a smoke shop on the 1800 block of Tropicana Avenue, near Spencer Street, and started stealing cigarettes, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
